Overview
Rook Lift Chess Academy is a digital platform concept for an inclusive, modern chess school. This case study explores how an
accessible interface and unified brand identity were developed to support both online and in-person learning.
The project spanned 10 weeks — from an empty Figma file to a fully realized high-fidelity prototype complete with
responsive layouts, motion design, and a living style guide.
My Role
I served as Prototype & Style Guide Lead, responsible for creating a cohesive visual system and defining scalable design tokens. My
focus was on component consistency, layout responsiveness, and collaboration between UI and interaction designers.
I also oversaw the prototype architecture — building clickable user journeys and testing accessibility with early users to refine flow clarity and
engagement.
